        Vampire novel, originally published in French as La Vampire, part of omnibus Les Drames de la Mort (Charlieu and Huillery 1856). Translated from the Belgian 1969 Marabout edition by Brian Stableford, who also provides a lengthy introduction on Féval, an afterword on 19th century vampire fiction, and extensive notes.
