Note: The cover of this magazine has an interesting error, it list two stories that are not actually in the magazine, “The Trail to Raiders’ Hell” by Joseph Chadwick and “They Call Him Killer!” by Stone Cody. Though both authors do appear in the magazine, stories with those titles do not. Details supplied by Tom Daniels. |

The first three issues of Ace Mystery were really weird horror magazines rather than mystery magazines, offering the usual mix of sadistic fantasy, weird menace and sexual apprehension. The last two issues, retitled Detective Romances, were somewhat more sedate. |

Some issues have been seen priced at 15¢. |
