Contrary to the cover copy, this collection does not have much of a Western flavor to it. It’s part of “The American Ghosts Series,” a series of geographical ghost story anthologies. Other entries are New England, The Midwest, etc.). While the stories are technically set in one of the western states, they’re often generic urban or suburban and wouldn’t even qualify as contemporary westerns. |
