    The magazine started life as Baby: the Mother’s Magazine which ran no fiction apart for the occasional children’s story. In November 1915, as The Mother’s Magazine it started to run serials and the occasional short story. In July 1917, as Lloyd’s Magazine, the magazine began to run more and more fiction until, in June 1921, it became an all-fiction pulp under the title Lloyd’s Story Magazine.
