One of the oddities of British periodicals is Printers’ Pie which was sometimes a Christmas annual, called either Winter’s Pie or Christmas Pie, sometimes appeared twice a year with the other volume called Summer Pie and briefly four times a year with a Spring Pie and Autumn Pie. Those with the seasonal titles were simply called that. Printers’ Pie did not appear in the title. So indexing them has an immediate problem. |
