Storyteller ContestCountry: UK
Initially all stories in the magazine were submitted as "contest entries" with ú25 being paid for
the prizewinning story and ú5 for each other story, and was called Storyteller Contest. At some
point the title on the covr at least changed to Storyteller and in 1964 the magazine title
changed to International Storyteller, although the stories were still mainly by newcomers from

The Strand Magazine "Colonial Edition"Country: Australia
A number of issues of The Strand Magazine have been seen which are identical to the UK issues except that they are dated one month later and have prices on the cover for Australia, New Zealand and/or South Africa. These are believed to be a "Colonial Edition", printed locally and dated to allow for the delay caused by shipping the printing plates.
