Street & Smith's Unknown

Total Issues: 26+13+1=40

Although commonly referred to as Unknown, the magazine was actually called Street & Smith's Unknown for the first 26 issues and Unknown Worlds for the remaining 13 issues. A one-off anthology, From Unknown Worlds was published in 1948 in both a large pulp format and a hardback edition.

Street & Smith's Western Story "Overseas Edition for Armed Forces"

During World War II, issues of Street & Smith's Western Story were distributed to American forces with "Overseas Edition for Armed Services" printed on the cover. No copies have been examined but they probably contained the same as the US issues of the same date with US advertisements replaced by other material.
