Analog Annual

Total Issues: 1+2=3

A short-lived series of paperback anthologies whose contents were drawn from Analog's regular inventory, designed to acquaint book readers with the magazine's existence. Was touted as a "thirteenth" issue of Analog, a somewhat ironic description after Analog went to a 13 issues a year schedule at the beginning of 1981.

The Anglo-Saxon Review

Total Issues: 10

Not, as its title might suggest, a journal devoted to Old English, but an opulently-produced miscellany (including fiction) which used the term "Anglo-Saxon" in the Churchillian sense (the editor was Winston's American-born mother) to denote the English-speaking peoples. A folly, but it published stories by Henry James, Stephen Crane, George Gissing, H. de Vere Stacpoole, Robert Barr, H. D. Traill.
