    Throughout its life this was a reprint magazine similar to The Golden Book, publishing a broad spectrum of material with the strongest influence being initially that of adventure stories. When the name changed to Pioneer Tales the emphasis shifted more toward western stories, with a surprising number of fantastic stories as well.
