Although Nick Carter, as a character, had been appearing in various formats (and magazines) since 1886, the material was beginning to feel dated by the time Nick Carter Magazine was launched in 1933. As such, while the name of the character (and some of his companions) were retained, the stories were deliberately targetted at a “new generation”. Each issue featured a lead Nick Carter novella, as well as a couple of short stories. |
