Wonderland TalesCountry: UKTotal Issues: 46
Even in its early run, this was a mixture of comics and fairy stories.
Aimed at a 5-9 age-group at first, after around 10 issues it switched
its aim to an older market (7-12) and introduced a number of school
stories. Contributors included G.R. Hearn, Peter Cavan, Hilda Brierley,
Jack Lewis, Basil Baldwin, Morton Pike, Henry T. Johnson, John Grenfell,
Horace Philips, C. Louis Pearce; artists included Philip Swinnerton,
Leonard Shields, Philip Hayward, J. Louis Smyth, and others. The title
became Wonderland Tales Weekly after 46 issues, and the target audience
was once again lowered.
