The Ocean

One of the first specialist pulp magazines, dealing with sea stories. Authors include Charles F. Bourke, George Bronson-Howard, Edwin C. Dickinson, Steven Chalmers, Clarence B. Kelland. When revamped as The Live Wire, it was the first pulp to have all its illustrations in two colours. Absorbed into The Scrap Book in Sep-1908.
