Founded as successor to the University Magazine, a forum of arts and letters begun in 1844. It publishes fiction, poetry, letters, essays, reviews, and interviews, as well as original artwork. Contributors include Conrad Aiken, Wendell Berry, Anthony Burgess, Raymond Carver, Don DeLillo, Annie Dillard, Louise Erdrich, Michael S.
