Free-lance writer and the 14th editor of Adventure magazine. An expert on outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing, and also knowledgeable about aeronautics. His claim to hold a Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University cannot be substantiated. Born in and resident of Yonkers, New York. Like Alden Norton before him and Bruce Cassiday after him, Gil Paust contributed prolifically to Adventure, but because he used a number of pseudonyms, his contributions are not realized.
