Storyteller Contest

Initially all stories in the magazine were submitted as "contest entries" with 25 being paid for the prizewinning story and 5 for each other story, and was called Storyteller Contest. At some point the title on the covr at least changed to Storyteller and in 1964 the magazine title changed to International Storyteller, although the stories were still mainly by newcomers from the UK.

Contained a story by Angela Carter in July 1962, and published an all-SF "omnibus" in 1964, although it is unclear whether this was an issue of the magazine or a separate anthology.
