Misanthrope dealt with the dark underbelly of society and the horrors and perversions one would expect to find there. The first issue came out at the end of 1997 -- just in time for that Christmas stocking! There was a second issue planned, but as often happens with these things, it never happened.

Fanzine that mixed comic strips with fiction reprints (including "Valor Of Cappen Varra" by Poul Anderson).

The magazine featured poetry, essays, and film, art, and literature reviews.

General magazine featuring "anything of interest to the teen-age girl, including fiction, articles, and features". There were two comic strips in each issue, including one which launched the career of Patsy Walker, the Marvel character.

The numbering started at v1 #2 following a single-issue comic. After April 1950 the magazine reverted to a comic, as which it ran for a further 60 issues.
