    Redbook Magazine [v69 #6, October 1937] ed. Edwin Balmer (25¢, 164pp, quarto, cover photo)
    Has a photographic cover and lots of photos internally. Less features and departments than the 1932 issue and predominantly fiction. Still on that slightly coated stock but this is more flexible and less fragile than the earlier lot. The ’complete novel’ at the back of the magazine is on coarser book paper. Still called Redbook Magazine and cover proclaims a circulation of 1.1 million. Details supplied by Mike Ashley.
