A Basinful of Fun was a companion cartoon/short story humour and pin-up magazine to Youve Had It. Most of the early issues are undated but it seems that by 1950 A Basinful of Fun appeared bi-monthly (probably alternating with Youve Had It), switching to monthly with the January 1952 issue. |
While the month and year are unknown, the masthead inside shows the flags of the Allies, and U.S.S.R, U.S.A & US on to Victory suggesting that WW2 has not ended as yet. Simon is noted to be with the British North Africa Forces at time of publication. An illustration on page 34 is dated 1943.
