Mrs. Gaye Spiegelman was a topless go-go dancer at the El Cid in San Francisco, where she replaced Carol Doda. She was billed as the “Topless Mother of Eight.” She was beheaded in a car crash on November 29, 1968. She was 36 years old and three of her eight children died in the crash.
