    Redbook [v91 #6, October 1948] ed. Edwin Balmer (25¢, 142pp, quarto, cover photo)
    Balmer is now editor-on-chief and Sheppard Butler has risen to Managing Editor, with Lillian Kastendike as the Fiction Editor. Kennicott is simply Advisory Editor and Don Saunders is Executive editor. Anyone know how many of these names also surface in McCALL’S? The cover photo, and slant of articles and stories makes this much more a women’s magazine. Details supplied by Mike Ashley.
