    MacLean’s
The change in title from MacLean’s Magazine to MacLean’s was a gradual process. The title was abbreviated on the cover first, in November 1912, although it was actually titled MacLean on the cover from April 1913 to August 1913 and MacLean Magazine from September 1913 to January 1914, before settling down as MacLean’s. The May 1918 issue was the first issue where the title was given as MacLean’s at the top of the Table of Contents and in the editorials. Even then the title on the first page of text (after the adverts) remained as MacLean’s Magazine until the March 15, 1921 issue when that also changed to MacLean’s, and the title on the page headers/footers didn’t change until 1961.
