Detective Novel Classics (about)
It has been suggested that a magazine of this title was published by Hillman, but this was actually the title of a series of books published by Hillman, not a magazine.
Detective Novels Magazine: (about)
For most of its life Detective Novels Magazine offered two short novels, a small selection of short stories and a few features as fillers, mainly on a bimonthly schedule, and is best known for the two series of stories featuring Jerry Wade (The Candid Camera Kid) and Robert Clarke (The Crimson Mask). In 1944 the format changed to featuring just a single “novel” and a handful of short stories and the title was changed accordingly to Detective Novel Magazine.
