All Star Detective Stories (UK): (about)
British reprint edition of All Detective. The British Library catalogue suggests there were three issues under this title and at least one more under the title All Detective Magazine, but they only have the first issue and no other have been found elsewhere.
All-Story Detective: (about)
One of Popular’s belated pulps best known now for its stories by John D. MacDonald and even a story by Cyril Kornbluth; the rest was competent but unremarkable. After six issues as All-Story Detective it changed its name to 15 Story Detective and ran for a further eight issues (a 9th, July 1951, issue is rumoured to exist but is probably phantom).

Amazing Detective Mystery Stories (UK)
Mike Cook, in Mystery, Detective and Espionage Magazines, says one issue is known of this pulp magazine, but provides no details of it and no copy has been located. It seems likely that this was a misreading for the 1950 Mystery Stories which carried a banner heading of “Amazing Detective Mystery”.
American Crime Magazine: (about)
Thin digest that ran for at least 36 issues, in two separate series. Despite the title and the boast that it contained “fast-moving drama by popular American authors” it seems to have contained only stories by Australian authors, probably a small number under multiple pseudonyms. There was also an associated series of standalone novelettes published by the same publisher under the same series title of which only two undated examples are known—The Counterfeiters by Rex Young and Murder Madness by Steve Hawk.

American Detective Novels (about)
Little is known about this publication, which is assumed to be a companion to American Detective Magazine. At least three of the issues contained multiple stories, but for the other issues identified to date only the lead novella is known and may comprise the total contents of the issue. Other undated examples are believed to include Bullets for Sale by E. Hamilton Clay, Singing Death by Gordon Alexander, and Bullets for Blondes by Steve Hawk.

American Sleuth (about)
Thin digest that ran for at least 16 issues, reprinting stories from American crime pulps like Famous Detective Stories and Smashing Detective Stories. Indexing this title is complicated by the fact that multiple issues have been reported with the same issue number but with different contents.
