Sax Rohmer's Panther Crime Circle Editions

In 1960, four Sax Rohmer titles were reprinted in the Panther Books' Crime Circle series. Panther paperbacks were published by Hamilton & Co., London.

.The Barye Phillips' cover art for the 1957 Fawcett Gold Medal edition of Re-enter Fu Manchu was used for the Panther edition of The Shadow of Fu Manchu,  and the Gold Medal cover for Emperor Fu Manchu was used for the Panther Re-enter Fu Manchu. Barye Phillips was not credited in either of the Panther editions. The artwork for the other two covers was likely to have been borrowed as well. If anyone knows the source, please let us know.
