Ellis Parker Butler
Ellis Parker Butler will contribute next month an amusing adventure story entitled "Whiffenpoof Island." On December 5 Mr. Butler will celebrate his sixty-sixth birthday. He has been writing for fifty-three years. His first story entitled, "Shorty and Frank's Adventure" was published when he was thirteen years old and he received in payment fifty one cent postcards. Mr. Butler has published thirty-three books and over two thousand short stories, most famous of which is "Pigs Is Pigs."
